Product Warranty

The products sold by Genero Anna srl ​​have the following minimum warranty, unless different specifications:
  • statutory warranty: 24 months for private parties acting for purposes which are outside the trade, business, craft or profession (issue of receipt or invoice WITHOUT VAT), pursuant to Decree 24/02;
  • conventional or commercial warranty: 12 months
  • duration specified in the product in the case of used products.

To qualify for the warranty, the customer has to keep the invoice (or transport document.
The statutory warranty regards the products that present a conformity defect.The lack of conformity must be reported to Genero Anna srl by the customer within two months after the discovery of the defect.
It is assumed that the consumer goods conform to the contract if, where relevant, the following circumstances exist:
a)they are fit for the purposes for which goods of the same type are normally used;
b) they comply with the description given by the seller and possess the qualities of goods which the seller has held out to the consumer as a sample or model;
c) they show the quality and performance which are normal in goods of the same type and which the consumer can reasonably expect, given the nature of the goods and, where appropriate, public statements on the specific characteristics of the goods made about them by the seller, the manufacturer or its agent or representative, particularly in advertising or on labeling;
d) they are also suitable for the particular use which the consumer requires them and which he made known to the seller at the time of conclusion of the contract and which the seller has accepted, also implicitly.

There is no lack of conformity if, at the time the contract is concluded, the consumer was aware, or could not ignore with ordinary diligence or if the lack of conformity is due to materials or instructions supplied by the consumer.In case of lack of conformity, Genero Anna srl shall, with no cost for the customer, the restoration of conformity at its office by repair / replacement or reduction of the price, until the termination of the contract. If the defect does not result in a lack of conformity, the customer will be charged for any costs of verification and recovery, as well as transportation costs if incurred by Genero Anna srl.The commercial warranty is in effect a warranty of good operation: it does not guarantee the absence of defects in the original, but the fact that defects do not occur due to the protracted use. The products sold by Genero Anna srl ​​enjoy the manufacturers standard warranty.
The services rendered under warranty do not extend the warranty period itself. Therefore, in case of replacement of the product or its components, a new warranty period does not initiate on the product or on the individual component replacement , but you have to consider the date of purchase of the original good. In case of warranty replacement, sending by Genero Anna srl, the customer must send the replaced piece to Genero Anna srl at his own expense and no later than 30 days (from the date of dispatch of the replacement by Genero Anna srl). In case of non-return of the replaced part, Genero Anna srl will issue a regular invoice of sale for the piece sent. Genero Anna srl ​​will check the allegedly defective piece. If the checks carried the piece proves fully functional or not covered by the standard warranty, Genero Anna srl ​​will send an invoice of sale or charging of costs incurred (for verification, recovery and eventual transport).The damaged parts due to poor and / or improper maintenance, neglect or failure to use and all parts subject to wear and tear, consumption and / or rupture due to the use are not covered by the warranty. Shipping costs are borne by the buyer.The warranty is valid only to the original purchaser. The warranty is invalid if the product is tampered with, changed or repaired by someone not authorized by Genero Anna srl.Genero Anna srl ​​is not liable for any damages, direct or indirect, caused to persons, animals or property damage to the machine or resulting from the forced suspension of the use of the same, for damages resulting from loss of data or delays in delivery or causes of greater force, as well as in the event that the product cannot be subject to maintenance and repair in the time after the end of the guarantee or if there are delays in repairs or replacements of products in conventional warranty (except the case of fraud or serious negligence ).The replacements in case of DOA (Dead On Arrival: Product not working on delivery) occur only if expressly provided by the manufacturer. The timing of replacement or repair of any product depends only on the policies of the manufacturer.

Here there s the procedure for returning the package under warranty:
- To limit damage to the packaging of the product, it is recommended, when possible, to put it in another box. It should also be avoided in all cases the attachment of labels or tape directly on the original packaging of the product;
- Include in the package a copy of the sales note / invoice / receipt / DDT;
- Include in the package a note showing the defect of the product and the phone number of the customer for any clarifications;
- Include in the package a note with the address where to send the product back;
- Send the package via traceable mail or courier to Genero Anna srl – via F. Foscari 4E, 36016 Thiene (VI).

The purchaser, before sending the goods to Genero Anna srl, must ensure that has performed any backup copies of sensitive data or any other content. Genero Anna srl ​​is not liable for any lost data.The consumer has the right to delete the contract without penalty and without specifying the reason within the term of ten working days from the date of receipt of the product. The essential integrity of the property to be returned is an essential condition for the exercise of the right of withdrawal. The right of withdrawal is exercised by sending a written communication to the professional by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt. The notice may be sent, within the same term, by e-mail with acknowledgment of successful reading and fax, provided that it is confirmed by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt within forty-eight hours; the letter is considered sent in time if delivered to the post office within the time prescribed by the code or by the contract, if different. The notice of receipt is not, however, an essential condition for the exercise of any right of withdrawal.

The consumer may not exercise the right of withdrawal in the following cases:
a) the provision of services if performance has begun, with the consumers agreement, before ten working days;
b) the supply of goods made to specifications or clearly personalized or which, by their nature, can not be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
c) the supply of audiovisual products, consumables (paper rolls, labels, toner cartridges, paper, etc..) or computer software which were unsealed by the consumer.

The only charges payable by the consumer for exercising the right of withdrawal is the direct cost of communication and of returning the goods to the sender (refer to the address shown prevously) and will not be compensated by Genero Anna srl ​​in the event that the goods were lost or damaged. If the right of withdrawal is exercised by the consumer pursuant to the provisions of this section, Genero Anna srl ​​will reimburse the sums paid by the consumer for the purchase, within thirty days from the date on which Genero Anna srl ​​became aware of the right of withdrawal by the consumer. The amounts are reimbursed if they are actually returned, sent or credited (DL 206/05).

In the event that repair is not covered by warranty, Genero Anna srl will provide a quote for the repair of the equipment to the customer. It should be noted that in general the manufacturers warranty on products sold by Genero Anna srl does not cover:
- The replacement of consumables (batteries, light bulbs, fuses, damage to the recording heads or reading, etc.).
- The abnormal use or non-conforming products (Customers are requested to carefully read the instruction manual supplied with the product)
- Failures (and subsequent consequences) due to the intervention of a repairer not authorized by Genero Anna srl
- Failures (and subsequent consequences) due to external causes (example: accidents, shock, lightning, power surges, ...).

For sales outside the Italian territory, we will refer in general to the guarantee offered by the manufacturers.
